Johnna Rhone, a teacher of Jefferson Middle School is arrested With charge of false report or threat of terrorism.
According to The Detroit News, she is accused of “leaving threatening notes at Jefferson Middle School in Lakeview Public Schools.” The case comes as Michigan is still reeling from the Oxford school shooting nearby that left four students dead and a 15-year-old teenager and his parents charged.
After being charged with making a false report or threatening terrorism in the 40th District Court in St. Clair Shores on Monday, a veteran Jefferson Middle School art teacher was ordered not to have any contact with the school.
Before Judge Joseph Oster, Johnna Rhone, 59, of Royal Oak, filed a not guilty plea during the court session. Her bond was set at $75,000 with a 10% surety bond.
Rhone did not comply with police after being arrested, according to police, and did not offer a statement. She cannot contact anyone from Jefferson Middle School if she is released on bond.

One of the notes says, “Begin break early. He is going to do it. Just do not be in the hall after lunch. Boom! Get it?” As she was presented in the court, Rhone has rejected all of the charges against her. In the meantime, her bond was set at $75,000, 10% surety, Although her next hearing is scheduled for 2nd February 2022.
Making a false complaint or threatening terrorism is a 20-year felony punishable by fines of up to $20,000 if convicted.
The classes did not have to be rescheduled. According to police sources, a search of her home turned up no guns or weapons.
