Hitman 3 owners will get free access to the Sapienza map for a limited time.
The Sapienza map came with the original release of Hitman in 2016. It is a beautiful sea facing town with a number of sections. You can weave through residential areas, sneak into the target’s gigantic estate, dump bodies into the water by the shore, and gain access to secret underground tunnels.
The map’s primary mission, World of Tomorrow, tasks Agent 47 with assassinating Ether Biotech Corporation scientist Silvio Caruso and destroying a deadly DNA-specific virus. Also on the target list is Francesca De Santis, Caruso’s overseer, who could possibly replicate the scientist’s work.
Additionally, you’ll also be able to hunt down the Elusive Target known as The Twin. Agent 47 has been contracted by Gonzales Narvaez to take out his identical twin Dylan, in order to completely take over their co-owned business. To make things more interesting, both twins will be present in the area, you’ll have to make sure you kill the correct one. This Elusive Target will go live on July 2.
Hitman 3 has been running live seasons based on the Seven Deadly Sins, with Sloth being the one running currently. For this season Dartmoor has been given a messy makeover to fit the sloth theme. A vitality meter has also been introduced which depletes with every action and certain interactions; reaching zero spells death for 47. The new sin-themed items you can get your hands on are the Lotophage Suit, the Slapdash SMG, and the Sedative Goldbrick Proximity Mine. The Season of Sloth also brings you a themed Elusive Target known as The Liability. The world’s laziest building inspector can be found in Berlin.
Square Enix recently announced Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, a free-to-play title that’s expected to launch in 2021 and will be available on both iOS and Android. The game is set after the disappearance of Agent 47 and follows a group of assassins who try to stop a global crime network.
