The midfielder was a real gem for the Tartan Army.
Rangers star Ryan Jack once again starred for Scotland despite a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Israel which denied Steve Clarke’s men promotion in the Nations League.
The Light Blues maestro played in his usual central midfield role and was largely impressive as the Tartan Army were beaten.
Jack has been an integral part of Steven Gerrard’s team this season and appears to be going from strength to strength.
He has played 16 times in all competitions and at 28 is coming into the form of his life.
After last night’s defeat, Jack earnt himself a rave review from the Daily Record, who gave him 8/10 for his performance.
The player ratings piece claimed: “He’s getting better with each passing match and his big-game experience for Rangers in Europe certainly helps. Tigerish in the tackle and classy in possession – you can see why he’s become an automatic pick.”
TBR View – Jack quickly becoming Rangers most vital player
The Gers have a plethora of attacking talent but the presence of the 28-year-old midfielder allows those to thrive.
Jack has enjoyed two solid performances during the last week for Scotland and that can only bode well for Rangers.
The player ratings piece also called Jack flawless and he looks like being a big player for Scotland at next summer’s European Championship.
Rangers will hope to end Scotland’s stranglehold on the Scottish Premiership title this season.
With Jack pulling the strings, you wouldn’t bet against the Gers doing just that.
