West Ham have opened talks with Toulouse over a £26million deal for Issa Diop.
The 21-year-old centre-back, who has been monitored by Barcelona, Tottenham and Arsenal, is keen on a move to London and West Ham have proposed a deal which would see the payment made over three years.
Sportsmail reported West Ham’s interest at the weekend and they have now firmed up their interest though a deal is still short of being concluded.
