UGANDA READY FOR NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY

Arrangements for the national cross country are on going and the venue only awaits athletes. That’s a statement made by Aggrey Kagonyera the event director for the national cross country that is going to take place at Kololo Air strip in Kampala.
Aggrey adds that they expect athletes to put in their best since this is the last trial for the world cross country that is due to take place this year
According to the head of competitions Mr. Kiwa Faustino, they are having grievances with the arena since allot of construction is still going on and yet they have a schedule to bit.
Mr. Kiwa adds that they expect many national team players like Stephen Kiprotich to take part as this shall be a ground for them to play the world cross country.
The race is stated to start this Saturday 14th/January 2016 at 1:00pm. The categories expected are as follows.
Senior category that shall run for 10km 10
Junior who are expected to run for 8km and the Mixed riley which shall comprise of 2 ladies and 2 gentlemen.
