Eden Hazard comically shoved his own team-mate off the ball during Belgium’s 4-1 win against Costa Rica.

Yannick Carrasco had possession in the pre-World Cup friendly, was high up the pitch on the left flank with the Chelsea winger alongside him.

Hazard then shoved the Dalian Yifang star with his right hand in the chest before delivering a pass to the edge of the box.

After he made the move, Hazard glanced back over his should to playfully gauge Carrasco’s reaction.

The pair are known to be good friends off the pitch and it is likely that Hazard shoved him purely in jest, with Belgium already 3-1 up and cruising.

Having fallen behind to a 24th minute Bryan Ruiz goal, England’s Group G rivals stormed back in front with a Romelu Lukaku brace before Michy Batshuayi added the fourth.

After his amusing intervention, Hazard limped off the pitch injured, causing concern among fans with Roberto Martinez’s side starting their World Cup campaign against Panama on Monday.

Initial fears of a serious knock have since been allayed with Martinez confirming Hazard suffered a dead leg and should recover swiftly.

All eyes will be on Hazard and Belgium’s golden generation when they play England on June 28.
