Chelsea have confirmed their pre-season schedule, which will include a London derby against Arsenal in Ireland.
The all-Premier League clash is part of the International Champions Cup tournament, and the Stamford Bridge outfit will also take on Inter and Lyon as part of the tournament.
They will face the Serie A club in Nice at the Allianz Riviera Stadium on July 28, before heading to Dublin.
Chelsea will take on Arsenal in a pre-season friendly at the Aviva Stadium on August 1
They will then face the French side on August 7 at Stamford Bridge, ahead of the Community Shield final against Manchester City at Wembley the weekend before.
The confirmation ends the mayhem that had originally been the Blues’ schedule.
A game against Sevilla was originally set for July 28 in Warsaw, while the friendly with Lyon was previously set to be hosted in Gothenburg.
The clash with Arsenal has also been moved from its original venue, with it first scheduled to take place in Stockholm.
The teams will meet at Ireland’s national stadium, just days before the Community Shield final
Club ambassadors for both Chelsea and Arsenal were in place to help announce the showpiece at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday, with Tore Andre Flo and Ray Parlour both present for the reveal.
Excitement will perhaps lessen for fans, though, when they are made aware of the price of tickets.
Seats will go on sale on Friday at £54.25 each, not including concessions.
