Alvaro Morata is already practicing finding the net ahead of next season as he pulled off an incredible shot on the basketball court while on holiday.

The Chelsea striker struggled in front of goal last season and as a result was omitted from Spain‘s World Cup squad.

But the Spaniard looks to be enjoying his time off as he fires in to a basketball hoop from distance after doing some kick ups while holidaying.

Morata scored 15 goals in 47 appearances for Chelsea last year, having moved from Real Madrid in a deal worth around £60 million.

The 25-year-old struggled to live up to his predecessor, Diego Costa, and even manager Antonio Conte admitted Chelsea’s woes were down to a lack of cutting edge in front of goal.

Subsequently, Morata was also snubbed by the soon-to-be Real Madrid boss, Julen Lopetegui, who will leave his role as head coach of Spain following the World Cup.

Morata has spent his time off in the sun with his wife, Alice Campello, who is heavily pregnant with the pair expecting their first children very soon.

He married the 23-year-old Italian model in June 2017, and the pair have been living together in London since his move to Stamford Bridge.

It looks likely that the striker will remain at Chelsea next season, where he has faced stiff competition from Frenchman Olivier Giroud, who moved across London in January.

A decision on who will be the first choice is unclear, with there still a shroud of uncertainty over who will manager the side, after a season of reports Antonio Conte was set for the exit.
