social media polls show incumbent Gen. Mugisha Muntu will not find it easy in securing landslide victory in the FDC Presidential election.

Gen. Muntu is battling Patrick Amuriat, Mubarak Munyagwa, Moses Byamugisha and Dan Matsiko.

According to galaxy FM website polls,  the former army commander is leading with shocking 55%, a result that will shock his supporters.

Gen. Muntu’s closest rival is Kawempe North MP Munyagwa who has polled 23%.

Patrick Amuriat, a former MP is third with 17%.

While Matsiko with 3% and Byamugisha with 2% come fourth with 3% and fifth, respectively.

Many would expect Gen. Muntu to sweep the vote after party Secretary General Nathan Nandal Mafabi withdrew and the nature of opposition at his disposal.

FDC flagged off campaigns and the candidates are combing parts of the country for votes ahead of the elections in November.
