With the growing demand for very fast, reliable and available business registration services,Uganda Registration Service Beaural [URSB] is to start using “register your business on the Go!” in addition to the already existing offices.
Funded by the Justice Law and Order Sector (JLOS) the Mobile registration van will traverse the country, in places where URSB doesn’t have physical presence and conduct both onsite registrations and also sensitization to the general public
URSB already has 4 existing regional offices: in Gulu, Arua, Mbarara and Mbale and three branches within Kampala; one at Post office on Kampala Road, the second on Lumumba Avenue at the UIA and the third on Ssekaziga House Nakivubo Mews road.
JLOS is a sector wide approach adopted by Government to bring together institutions with closely linked mandates of administering justice and maintaining law and order and human rights, into developing a common vision. JLOS focuses on a holistic approach to improving access to and administration of justice through the sector wide approach to planning, budgeting, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Ms Rachel Odoi-Musoke, the Technical Advisor JLOS officially handed over the mobile registration van to the Registrar General , pledging further support to URSB.
“Our wish is to see that such mobile registration services reach every sub county and also each parish in the country,” she said
“With the means we have, JLOS will continue to support most of the areas of URSB so as to enhance doing business and the investment climate in the country.”
Today, URSB has made tremendous changes that are geared towards the development of the private sector and eventually influence the doing business environment. Some of the notable ones are;
