Rwizi region Police spokesperson, Ibin Senkumbi, has been transfered to the directorate of International Police (Interpol).

In a message sent to Regional Police Commanders (RPCs) and District Police Commanders (DPCs) on Tuesday, Mr Senkumbi is the most ranked officer [Superintendent of Police] among the six moved officers. The rest of the transferred officers are at the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

Mr Senkumbi was the only officer whose new designation at Interpol was not mentioned.


The other seven officers moved in the latest reshuffle include Irene Chelangat moved from Rwenzori West to Albertine as Regional Traffic Officer, Mr Hadi Seiko from Tracking Unit to Mbale as Officer in Charge (OC) Traffic, Mr Reinhold Rwakirenzi, from Kampala Central Police Station (CPS) to Lwengo as OC, Mr Jude Nasucha from Kumi to Arua as OC and Mr Stephen Ojok from Arua to Kumi.
