Manchester United will be hoping to mark their return to the Champions League with a win on Tuesday night when they take on Basel in their Group A opener.

The Red Devils last appeared in European football’s elite competition back in 2015 under Louis van Gaal and suffered an early exit by finishing in third place behind Wolfsburg and PSV.

But the Europa League winners will be keen to make a bigger impact this time around as they look to take advantage of their back-door entry into the competition.

Eric Bailly and Phil Jones are unavailable for selection as the duo serve the final game of their European suspensions.

Victor Lindelof makes his first competitive start for the club this season after failing to make an appearance in United’s opening four Premier League games.

Take a look at the confirmed teams below.
