Ihoops basketball academy has added value to the future of the young basketballers in the country. This is witnessed in the basketball camp for juniors that Ihoops Uganda is having at the MTN Arena lugogo that began on Monday and is expected to end tomorrow on Friday.


Jimmy Enabu, one of the young coaches as well as the city oil star says that they were targeting the maximum of 100 children to take part which he believes shall be achieved by Friday.


Among other instructors is the one and only all times coach, Monday Juruni who is also passing on knowledge to the young talent.

“Iam very happy for this event and I believe it shall go on every year that comes by. Kids are gaining the reality in basketball” adds Monday Juruni.


Today many parents are gathered around the MTN Arena to see the performance of their kids.

Vicky the public relations officer of Ihoops says that today they are having 94 kids whom they expect to increase day by day.


The camp is aimed at boosting as well as enriching the young ones with talents and skills in basketball as well as mentorship.
