Tim Matheson is an American actor, director and producer who is best known for his roles as Eric Stratton in the 1978 comedy Animal House, Mike Beardsley in the film Yours, Mine and Ours and Phil Sweet in the 1973 film Magnum Force.
He was born in Glendale, California in 1947 to parents Sally and Clifford Matheson. He served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1968 to 1973. Matheson is a two-time divorcée and shares three children with his ex-wife, Megan Murphy.
Tim has appeared in two episodes of popular series called Leave It to Beaver, where he portrayed the character of Mike Harmon from 1962-1963. He gave voice to Sinbad Jr., the Sailor, in an animated series Sinbad Jr. and his Magic Bell.
Furthermore, Matheson also appeared in the film Yours, Mine and Ours in 1968, where he portrayed the role of the oldest son, as Mike Beardsley, with his co-actors Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda.

Tim found his first love, his first partner named Jennifer Leak, on a film set called ‘Yours, Mine, and Ours.’ The couple was very much in love, so they married in 1968. But unfortunately, they decided to separate and took divorce three years after, in the year 1971.
In 1985, Matheson fell in love again with a woman named Megan Murphy and got hitched. But, this relationship also could not survive. So, the stunning couple decided to get a divorce after 25 years of togetherness in the year 2010. They even share three children, namely Molly, Emma, and Cooper.
