WSOP 2022 Justin Bonomo Cheat Rumors? Twitter is Outraged Over His Recent Actions

Ali Imsirovic, a Bosnian-American, was accused of cheating by Alex Foxen just a few days prior during the last PokerGO Super High Roller Bowl Europe in North Cyprus and online.

Bonomo began his tweet by pleading with followers to refrain from criticizing Foxen for calling out Imsirovic for cheating, especially in light of the controversial nature of his ideas and prior charges of his own wrongdoing. He emphasized that the current problem was more serious and required immediate attention.

GGPoker suspended 40 accounts in September 2020, and 13 of them had sums totaling $1,175,305.43 seized. Bonomo claims to have spoken with a reliable source who informed him of the situation. He continued by saying that he had personally suffered greatly as a result of this immoral action.

Justin Bonomo, a four-time WSOP bracelet winner, is famously labeled a cheater. Some call him admitted cheater. The reason is that over a decade ago, controversies surrounded him, claiming that he had multi-accounts in the same tournaments.

In a series of tweets posted on April 18, Bonomo talked about the infamous banning of accounts by GGPoker back in September 2020 and how he believes he lost over $1 Million to an online poker cheat in that scandal.

At that time, Bonomo said he had personally suffered greatly as a result of such unethical behavior, reported Poker Guru.

In 2008 WSOP, the announcer even called him a cheater for the same reason. And in April 2022, he admitted to losing more than $1 million to fraud while playing online poker after Alex Foxen accused Ali Imsirovic of cheating.

While several cheating allegations surround the player, the past is brought up again because of his tweets about Daniel Negreanu, who busted out after losing to a runner-runner flush and smashing his vlogging camera on the floor in retaliation during WSOP.

Throughout the WSOP, Negreanu has been posting daily vlogs to his youtube account. In addition, he revealed that he had lost $979,389, including the two bullets he fired on Friday, as per Cards Chat. 

Following that incident, Justin has been continuously talking about it on Twitter, making him the target of netizens because he cannot just let it go.

Daniel Negreanu’s brief outburst sparked a lot of discussion on Twitter. Although most users said they sympathized with him and were not concerned about it, the reaction from Justin Bonomo was not similar to others.

He spoke out strongly against Negreanu and posted a series of polls responding to the incident. His initial tweets did not appear to cause too much controversy.

However, he continued it by speculating on how the incident would affect women who wish to play poker and asserting that this sort of behavior at the table might make them feel unsafe.

Trying to find some common ground with the haters

And, in another tweet, indicating that he was trying to find common ground with haters, he said the real MVP was the guy who said, “I think he lost” after seeing Negreanu throwing a tantrum during the tournament.

These two-argument faced a lot more opposition where people asked how he could assume the gender of the person who said that statement. Another user said that he calls them haters just because people do not agree with his opinion.

Justin Bonomo’s tweets about Daniel Negreanu have taken a controversial turn now. People are now asking him to let go of his ego, forget the incident, and move on.

He has been discussing it on social media ever since the incident happened. However, people are now lashing out at him for exaggerating the issue by adding up his assumptions.
