Jaco Swart Wife Assault Video
The video of a South African man Jaco Swart assaulting his wife Nicoleen Swart, has gone viral on twitter. Swart was identified by a former journalist and spokeswoman for AfriForum’s private prosecutions.
Jaco Swart pleaded guilty to causing serious bodily harm with the intent to do so. He was however, given a R20k (about $1,300) fine and a suspended prison sentence. After the case was dropped from the docket last year, Nicoleen called the lobbying group AfriForum for help.
According to authority, Swart was caught on CCTV striking his wife at their business in 2018. The CCTV footage, however, was reportedly not utilized in court, and the state’s attempt to include the evidence was denied until the video’s authenticity could be verified.
Since the case was stricken off the list last year, AfriForum’s Private Prosecution Unit became engaged. The lobbying group stands for Nicoleen Swart’s help.

Currently, the above horrifying video of Jaco Swart allegedly abusing his wife, Nicoleen, has prompted uproar on Twitter. The video has been going viral for the past 48 hours, showing Jaco Swart beating his wife Nicoleen Swart badly.
The video shows Jaco Swart’s disturbing actions – viciously kicking, punching and slaping Nicoleen. This video and went viral on Twitter. Internet users have now taken to social media to express their displeasure with this kind of misconduct. The case has now resumed and gotten international notice, and photos of Jaco Swart and the assaultive footage are circulating on the internet.

Advocate Gerrie Nel submitted a letter to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) at that time, indicating that private prosecution would be undertaken. The DPP then ordered that the defendants be prosecuted in May 2021.
Following Swart’s sentencing, Advocate Gerrie Nel bemoaned the criminal justice system’s apparent lack of desire to address gender-based violence.
He noted that they are presented with the criminal justice system’s lip service to the battle against gender-based violence, as well as a lack of dedication and expertise to properly care for victims of gender-based violence.

More accusations have been levelled against notorious GBV abuser Jaco Swart this week, after he allegedly committed ANOTHER assault against a woman in the Western Cape. The convicted wife-beater went viral this week, after footage of his attacks were shared online.
The wife-beater allegedly knelt on his ex-partner’s shoulders, attempted to suffocate her, and then lashed out at those trying to intervene:
“Make sure to stay as far away from Jaco Swart as possible. He had his knees on my friend/his ex-girlfriend’s shoulders so she could couldn’t move, one hand on her mouth, and another closing her nose to suffocate her.”
