Jeffrey Rawls was one of the North Carolina crash victim who died after plane crashed into truck on I-85
People who lost their lives in the plane crash were identified as Earnest Rawls, Jeffrey Rawls, Stephanie Fulcher, Jonathan Mclnnis, Douglas Parks, Noah Stryon, Michael Shepard, and Jacob Taylor.
All of their bodies will be turned over to their respective families, according to the sheriff’s office.

Jeffrey Rawls was the victim of the North Carolina plane crash.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the plane was taking off from the Davidson County Airport in Lexington, but collided into the back of a tractor while traveling south on I-85.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the circumstances of the crash, but initial evaluations suggest that the plane was taking off from the airport runway when the incident occurred.
The tractor-trailer was overturned during the crash, but the driver reportedly only suffered minor injuries and is being treated in a hospital in Winston-Salem. News outlet WRAL.com has identified the pilot as 43-year-old Raymond John Ackley.
“Apparently it was having some problem in takeoff,” said witness Donald Holt Sr of the plane in the crash, reported WRAL.com. “My wife said, ‘The plane is kinda low.’ I said, ‘Yes, it is.’”
Ernest Rawls was the pilot of the plane and he was also the father of Jeffrey Rawls. The father and son, both lost their lives in the unfortunate plane crash.
