Ryan Mason has applauded the attitude of Tottenham centre-forward Harry Kane, explaining that’s a main reason why he’s considered one of the best players in the world.
The 27-year-old has been a goal machine for several years now at Spurs after coming through from their academy and the England captain is now back with his club after the international break.
He scored his 150th Premier League goal in his last match by netting a late winner against West Brom and will be hoping he can win silverware for the first time in his career, with Spurs boss Jose Mourinho desperate for a trophy.
The North London club have started well to sit second in the league after with games and they have a number of players in top form.
Former Spurs midfielder Mason was at the club when Kane was starting to make a real name for himself and he’s raved about his talent:
“A relentless obsession with scoring goals. Harry has proved he’s one of the best in the world, if not the best number nine in the world,” Mason told talkSPORT.
“The obsession to train and want to improve and better yourself. It’s not easy to do and that’s why very few can do it.”
Kane has received so much individual success during his career, including winning the Premier League golden boot on two occasions and also achieving the same feat at the 2018 World Cup.
But it’ll be a travesty if he ends his career without silverware and that’s something he’s desperate to put right.
The centre-forward is arguably looking in the form of his life right now, scoring 13 goals and setting up 10 assists in 14 games across all competitions this season for Spurs.
