Oli McBurnie appears to have given Rangers’s interest in Kenny McLean his backing by liking a tweet on the reports linking the Scotland international with a potential move to Ibrox.
The Sun reported over the weekend that the Gers are monitoring the 28-year-old. It is noted that they have previously looked at him and are now ready to make a fresh move in January.
McLean has only made four Championship starts for the Canaries this season. And The Sun reports that Steven Gerrard therefore, hopes that he would be keen to make the move back to the Scottish Premiership in the next couple of months.
According to the report, Rangers are prepared to offer to pay for McLean in instalments. They could also attempt to take him on loan with an obligation to buy.
It remains to be seen if the Light Blues can convince Daniel Farke to let McLean go. Norwich did a superb job of keeping the large majority of their squad together following relegation last season.
But it would appear that one of McLean’s international teammates would like to see a move take place.
McBurnie has previously made no secret of the fact that he is a Rangers fan (via The Scottish Sun).
And it turns out that he has liked the tweet which includes a link to the story claiming that Gerrard wants McLean…
