A number of Arsenal fans have welcomed Dani Ceballos’ return to fitness ahead of the Gunners’ return to Premier League action on Sunday.
The Spaniard did not travel to Rapid Vienna for Thursday’s Europa League meeting – which Arsenal won 2-1 – but has recovered from an ankle problem.
Arsenal confirmed the news on Saturday afternoon, a statement reading: “Left ankle. Slight ankle bruising, now back in full training and available for selection.”
Ceballos’ return, alongside Thomas Partey’s arrival, means Mikel Arteta could play around with his formation.
For example, Football London suggests that the Arsenal boss could opt for a system similar to that of former club Manchester City, who often field a front three with a midfield trio behind.
Arteta could replicate this against Leicester City on Sunday with Ceballos as the advanced midfielder alongside Partey and Granit Xhaka, added the outlet.
Whichever formation and personnel Arteta opts for at the Emirates Stadium, Ceballos’ return to fitness has been met positively by Arsenal fans.

The boss needs to play Dani in that number 10 role and stay in the opposition half as much as possible.
We need to play with a higher tempo when Pepe does that he looks a different more dangerous player.
Belief is everything in all pro sport so keep believing we can win.
