The Warehouse demo for the remaster of the first two Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games will go live on August 14 at 8 am PDT (4 pm BST), allowing players access to a small snippet of the finished game.
Sony has now revealed the details of all the content that players can expect in the Tony Hawk demo, and from early reports, it sounds amazing.
What’s in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 demo?
According to Sony, the Tony Hawk demo will contain the iconic Warehouse level from the original Pro Skater game. This will be a full “experience carved out from the full game”, meaning that the demo will feature all the moves and tricks that are possible in the full game.
Tony’s moveset will be fully customisable, so in addition to his own famous tricks, the player will be able to remap his moves to include tricks performed from other skaters that will be available in the full game.
There will be two Special Trick spots open in Tony Hawk’s starting repertoire within the demo for the sole purpose of letting players experiment and try new tricks.
How to get the Pro Skater 1+2 demo
If you’d like to try the demo for yourself, it’s easy enough to get an invite. Anyone who pre-orders the game will be provided with an access key once the demo goes live on August 14.
Still, if you don’t get around to pre-ordering the game in time for the Tony Hawk demo, it’s not too long a wait until it is officially released on September 4.
For fans of classic Tony Hawk action, it looks as if Pro Skater 1+2 will be a nice trip down memory lane. The game looks well worth checking out for new and old fans alike.
