“We must spend our money with in Uganda to cub the dollar rate issue” Kiwanda says

The minister for tourism Hon Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi Salongo has advised Ugandans to stay and spend their money with in Uganda  so as to reduce on the big increment of the dollar rate in the country more especially in this coming festive season. Speaking this, the minister was launching the 2017 tourism expo where they expect to exhibit the  cultures, customs and traditions, history among many more things to the foreign world that is coming to visit Uganda.

Hon. Kiwanda also  adds that when ever  a dollar rises up it is a clear indication that Uganda is a supermarket nation. Hence an indication what Uganda imports more than what it exports. The minister advised that tourism is one way of curbing the grievance since it is an invisible export and a sure way of reducing the trade imbalances in the nation. He also called upon all Ugandans to come and be part of this event and have a look at what they have never had a glance on concerning Uganda.

The minister has also vowed to bring the whole Uganda to Kololo so that the world can know what the pearl of Africa is

The Expo is stated to be active for three days which shall begin from 17th to 18th of February 2017. The theme for this years expo is ;

“tourism everybody’s business”

It is on this event that Hon. Kiwanda recognized Uganda as the nation with the best weather, and the only place with the true source of the Nile. He said that over 10% of the worlds bird species are found in Uganda as well as more than half of the worlds mountain gorilla, plus Uganda being a country with the highest number of tribes.

The minister did not also forget the rolex as a tourist attraction since it is one of the key things that are going to be exhibited during these days.
