Tottenham’s new stadium took another giant step towards completion as work continued in laying the retractable NFL pitch.
The pristine green surface has started to light up the north London club’s new 62,062-seater stadium.
Tottenham’s new stadium has been hailed as one of the country’s most revolutionary to date and part of the design includes the retractable pitch to cater for both football games and NFL matches.

The football pitch will be rolled out in three sections to overlay the NFL turf with the first American football match pencilled in for October 14 when the Seattle Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders.
That is part of the ten-year agreement between Spurs and the NFL and it will come as welcome relief to those across the Atlantic to see the turf begin to be laid.
Pictures of the ongoing construction shows four big screens have been put in place in each corner of the ground, while an LED lighting display hugs the exterior of the new arena.
Lettering on the outside of the new stadium was a landmark moment the club shared on Monday as the personal touches to the club take hold.

But the club still faces a race against time to have the arena finished ahead of the new season
Mauricio Pochettino will wait with interest for the announcement of Premier League fixtures on June 14 as he will then discover where Tottenham will begin the 2018-19 campaign.
It is hoped the stadium will be complete and ready for the start of August but they may request to play the first month of games away from home in a bid to tie up loose ends.
Liverpool placed a similar request as they redeveloped their main stand and wanted to switch a fixture from home to away.
