The Nakawa Member of Parliament Michael Kabaziguruka was this morning involved in a nasty road accident along Jinja road.

The accident left him with serious injuries sustained on the leg.

The accident happened near the UMA show grounds & it involved al truck and an ambulance .

Kabaziguruka was driving the ambulance which he purchased for his constituency a few weeks ago.

The MP, now admitted at Kampala Hospital suffered a double fracture in his right leg, after a car he was driving had a head on collision along Jinja Road.

The vehicle, a Toyota Hiace Ambulance registration number UAP 236P which the MP was driving collided with a Hyundai, number UBA 083X near UMA show ground in Lugogo.

 

The MP’s assistant said at the hospital denied earlier reports that he had been amputated.

“He is okay, he is expected to recover,” she said.

According to reports, Kabaziguruka had just purchased the ambulance for his Nakawa constituents.
