Egypt have remained hopeful he will feature against Luis Suarez and Co in Ekaterinburg on Friday with the forward taking full part in Wednesday’s training session.
And manager Cuper is now more confident than ever that Salah will be ready in time.
‘Mohamed Salah is doing very well indeed, he’s recovered very quickly,’ Cuper said at a press conference on Thursday.

Egypt and Uruguay are joined in Group A by hosts Russia and Saudi Arabia, who meet in the tournament’s first match a day earlier.
The Pharaohs’ second game is on Monday against Russia in St Petersburg.
