Egypt boss Hector Cuper is almost 100 per cent certain that star man Mohamed Salah will be fit to play in his team’s World Cup opener against Uruguay on Friday.

The Liverpool star’s participation in Russia was thrown into doubt when he was forced off in the first half of the Champions League final just over a fortnight ago.

After tangling with Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, the Egyptian landed heavily on his left shoulder and left the field in tears before watching his team-mates lose 3-1.
