The minister of East African affairs Shem Bageine has told the regional parliament sitting in Arusha he will not return to cabinet.

The minister says he asked Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to not include him in the new cabinet.
Bageine says he wants to concentrate on his private work.
EALA MPs have lauded the services of Bageine.
EALA legislator from Uganda Nusura Tiperu says Bageine had the region at his finger tips and she asked that he revisits his decision or the president rejects his request.
Museveni will in a few days announce his new cabinet.
