The series is set to take viewers on an exclusive journey through the whole of City’s 2017-18 season; from the world-leading training facilities at the academy to interviews with the manager, boardroom meetings and other surprise moments across the campaign.

In the trailer viewers can see Guardiola speaking of the monumental task ahead of his side at the beginning of the season, acknowledging: ‘It will not be easy. It is so, so complicated.’

Guardiola’s first season in English football was something of a culture shock to the Barcelona legend, who unusually did not pick up a single piece of silverware.

Zipping through the season the trailer teases flashes of progress, as Guardiola gets to grips with his new-look squad and works to drill home his meticulous tactics.

‘We are close, we are so close!,’ Guardiola can be seen barking at his men as the season reaches it’s climax.

City finished the season convincing champions with a Carabao Cup victory, though fell short in the FA Cup and European cup competitions.

Amazon announced the documentary deal with the Etihad club in November of 2017, which is to be screened in more than 200 countries world wide upon release.

Sportsmail first revealed the huge £10million agreement between the club and the TV giants, though opposition soon gathered to City’s actions.

City had already begun permitting filming in the Etihad dressing room, despite it being a restricted area for the PL’s domestic rights-holders Sky Sports and BT Sport, who between them paid £5.1billion for their contracts.

The broadcasters made their discontent known, while rival teams soon became concerned it could affect their club TV content.

The series will launch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in 2018, with Prime members able to stream the series via the Prime Video app for TVs, connected devices including Fire TV, mobile devices and online at amazon’s website.
