Gareth Southgate has rewarded Trent Alexander-Arnold for his superb season with a place on the plane to Russia.
Sportsmail revealed last week that the youngster was included in Southgate’s provisional 35-man squad and the defender has made the final cut.
Alexander-Arnold has played a key role in Liverpool’s memorable run to the Champions League Final.

And the 19-year-old’s displays in Europe have not gone unnoticed by Southgate.
Speaking this week, the England boss waxed lyrical about the burgeoning talent.
‘It’s very exciting, he’s shown in some really big games that he has more than coped, he’s excelled.
‘That’s great credit to him,’ the England boss told beIN Sport.
‘He is experiencing big games, and winning big games. That is an important thing for young players, those experiences stay in your memory bank.’
Alexander-Arnold will have another opportunity to gain invaluable big-game experience against Real Madrid in the Champions League showpiece.

Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier were also named in the squad to go to Russia and will compete with Alexander-Arnold for a place on the right side of defence.
The Liverpool starlet is joined by club-mate Jordan Henderson but Adam Lallana missed out.
Lallana has been beset with injuries all season and was unable to prove his fitness in time for Southgate to select him with confidence in his condition.
