With in a couple of six months, Safaricom net profits have increased to Ksh23.9 billion (Ush787 billion).
The revenue from the Safaricom mobile money system dabbed mpesa rose to kshs 25.9 billion (887billion ugx), a rise from kshs19.35billion as of last year. This meant that mpesa business had a 30% increase.
According to the Daily Nation, Kenya’s leading newspaper, Safaricom has heavily invested in its network infrastructure and expects customer base to be seen by the new technology.
