Leicester are closing on a £25million deal for Porto right-back Ricardo Pereira and plan to follow with the signing of Manchester City’s Patrick Roberts.
Talks are ongoing with Porto over Portugal international Pereira who has a buy out clause of £33m though Leicester hope to conclude at a lower fee plus add-ons.
Pereira has been followed by many sides including Manchester United and Tottenham but Leicester have been dogged in their pursuit and he hopes to join over the weekend.

Leicester are also confident of signing winger Patrick Roberts from Manchester City in a deal which will trigger Riyad Mahrez’s departure to the Premier League champions.
Roberts was discussed by Leicester as part of negotiations in January but the clubs failed to agree a price.
He is now keen to make an impact on the Premier League after his loan at Celtic. Mahrez was left hugely disappointed by the collapse of his move but is now set to realise his ambition of joining Manchester City.
