‘I feel a lot better. Yes, I feel I can play tomorrow,’ Payet told reporters.
‘I’ve been feeling very good, especially since the beginning of 2018.
‘I haven’t changed anything except I have been injured less and when you have no injuries it’s must easier to play and feel better on the pitch.’
Marseille — who are fourth in Ligue 1, but could finish second if results go their way on the final weekend — have beaten Salzburg, Leipzig, Athletic Bilbao and Braga in Europe this season.
But they go into Wednesday’s clash as underdogs against Atletico, who need just a point at home to Eibar on Sunday to guarantee a second-place finish in La Liga.
Marseille’s players looked relaxed as they trained at the Stade de Lyon where Lucas Ocampos and Clinton N’Jie were seen joking around.
