Finally free: Indian Muslims released from Police to preach

The Indians who had come to Uganda to spread Islam are finally set free from the Central Police Station Kampala. Speaking to the press, Afande Emirian Kayima elucidated that the culprits came to Uganda through the right channels and were known by the Uganda Muslim leaders.
Emirian Kayima adds that police did all the check ups it needed and realized that the people were innocent.
“We tried to do all the check ups but what we found was only Islam related materials” says Afande Kayima. He adds that this was a proof that the people imprisoned earlier on were free to operate within Uganda for the period that is stipulated on their travel documents.Among these were 5 Ugandans as well as 8 Indians who were found at Kiwatule mosque.
The Ugandans included; Mohamed Nakayaga, Kalye Yunus the deputy imam of Kiwatule mosque, Kakooza Badru, Musa Lubega, Kityo Ibrahim, all set free.
The Indians included;Mohamed Shameem Khan, Azeer Ahmed Idrisi, Abdussalam, Akhalaque Najarudin Khan, Sufuyan Ahmed Ansari and some whom we did not manage to get their names to make up a total of 8 Indians.
This comes up after tight security by police due to the ongoing festive celebrations as well as welcoming the new year.
