Democratic Party (DP) Secretary General Mathias Nsubuga has passed on after suffering from a stroke on Friday.
Hon. Nsubuga was admitted at Case Clinic in Kampala after suffering a massive stroke.
In a press release issued on Saturday, DP president Norbert Mao said Nsubuga suffered the stroke on Friday at Mukono Bookshop in Kampala.
“All this happened in the presence of the Organising Secretary Sulaiman Kidandala who was with him. He is incapable of talking and his right lateral completely paralysed,” reads part of the press release.
Mao further noted that Nsubuga, a former member of parliament for Bukoto South, was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under scrutiny of physicians who are trying to establish the cause of the stroke.
