‘Corruption Discouraging Investors’ – HE Kiwanuka Sekandi

The vice president of the Republic of Uganda HE Kiwanuka Sekandi has opened up the commemoration of the 2016 anti corruption week with storming words. In his speech Mr Sekandi said that Uganda government must educate wider on the verge of corruption.
The vice president said that the government of Uganda is aware of the ongoing corruption cases and must continue to enforce the fight of reducing the trend.
“Corruption is unacceptable and does not undermine the rule of law to achieve its success but discourages local investors to come into the country”, Said Mr Sekandi.
The anti corruption strategy is anchored on five five strategic objectives which include; Strengthening of leadership and coronation of anti corruption efforts, empower citizens to participate in anti corruption measures among others.
